Jabal al-Dukhan

Jabal al-Dukhan rises 122m above sea level and is the highest point in Bahrain. It is a ragged, rocky area which looks down on Sakhir and the surrounding area and is especially beautiful at sunset.

Situated in the southern part of Jabal al-Dukhan is the “tree of Life”, a flourishing acacia tree that stands 10m high and 3m wide on a hillock alone in the desert.
