Al-Fateh Mosque
Al-Fateh Mosque and Islamic Centre was named after Ahmed al-Fateh,
the "conquerer" of
Bahrain. It is the largest mosque in the country and
dominates al-Fateh highway on the coast south of
Manama. Situated on 190,000 sq m of reclaimed land, it
includes the Religious Institute for Islamic Affairs, and numerous
conference and study rooms.
