Zoghby, Gamal

(1936- )

Egyptian architect, born in Zagazig,
Egypt.

He developed a plan for a resort on the island of the Golden Horn in al-Fayoum. The plan includes hotel facilities, a convention center, public squares all partly modeled after famous European public landmarks.

He is professor of architecture and design at the Pratt Institute in New York City.
