 Villanova Conference on Arab and Islamic Studies 2009:

The Villanova Center for Arab and Islamic Studies will be celebrating its 25th anniversary and to honor this occasion it is organizing a major international conference, titled: "MIRROR IMAGES: THE CHALLENGES OF ARAB AND ISLAMIC STUDIES." In addition to formal scholarly sessions, roundtable discussions and workshops the conference will also feature cultural events and a banquet with the keynote address delivered by PROFESSOR JUAN R. I. COLE, the Richard P. Mitchell Collegiate Professor of History of the University of Michigan, and President of the Global Americana Institute.
